Derek Hoffman

Freshman Coach
Education: Graduate of Vallivue High School, Currently
attending Boise State as a Communication Secondary
Education Major.
Playing Experience: I have played baseball for 15
years. I was a 3year starter for the Vallivue varsity
baseball team. I also played 2 years for the Caldwell
Silver Streaks.
Coaching Experience: I was an assistant coach for the
2007 Vallivue Titan American Legion baseball ball
team. This is my first year as a high school baseball
coach.
Favorite Quote: “God gets you to the plate, but once
your there your on your own”. The great Ted Williams.
Family: No wife or kids yet! But I do
have a girlfriend and her name is Kristen Bottoms. I
also am very close to my parents Tice and Tracy
Gabbard.
Hobbies: I love to play golf and watch TV.
